I want to bring out the artist in me. It has to be a healing experience. You do quite well. I doubt I would be brave enough to try people or animals. My mom was an artist. I have kept some of her supplies-she died in 1971. I think I would have to do this kind of thing when my husband (The Hunter) is away. He is too negative and certainly not someone who is,...encouraging?
I think everyone can draw. I learn every time I pick up a pencil. I look at pictures or drawings other people have done and ask myself can I do it. I have some art drawing books and tried some of the drawings to see if I could do it. Sometimes it doesn't work out. Those I don't post! ha ha I am teaching myself so there is no right or wrong way to do it. People comment all the time while I do this on my lunch hour. I listen to music on my little I Pod shuffle while I draw. It blocks out people talking and silences the little voice that would tell me I can't draw. Time will fly when you draw. On occasion I draw for fours hours straight, obsessed in finishing. I walk away exhausted. But I feel good when I am done. I have been doing this for about 4 months so I still have a lot to learn. I am not afraid to try anymore. I am afraid not to try. Try a few minutes at a time, the first few may look strange but keep on trying. You will surprise yourself.
